Our second location brings the same modular home expertise and hands-on buying experience to South Carolina's Lowcountry.

We have some exciting news to share. Carolina Country Homes is opening a second showroom in Yemassee, South Carolina, with a soft opening planned for late spring 2026 and an industry event scheduled for early June.
For the past 20-plus years, our Lancaster showroom has been the home base for buyers across the Carolinas. We've helped families from York County to Kershaw County, from Charlotte to the Upstate, find and build the right home for their land and their budget. The new Yemassee location extends that reach to buyers in the Lowcountry and the coastal regions of South Carolina who've had to drive a long way to see what a properly built modular home looks like in person.
Like our Lancaster location, the Yemassee showroom will feature display homes from multiple manufacturers, allowing visitors to walk through finished homes and see the quality firsthand. No renderings, no guesswork. You can open the doors, stand in the rooms, and get a real feel for the space before you ever sign anything.
The opening will feature 3 homes on the lot, including 2 brand-new floorplans:
Keep an eye out as we announce the addition of other brand-new homes in the coming months, particularly the Leesville, a 2,280sf 4-bedroom ranch with a full trim package, coming in July.
Coastal South Carolina has seen steady growth in the number of buyers looking to build on their own land. The Lowcountry offers beautiful property, a different climate and lifestyle than the Upstate, and in many cases, land that's more accessible from a cost standpoint. But it also comes with its own set of site challenges, including coastal foundation requirements and, in some areas, more complex septic and land considerations.
Having a location in Yemassee means buyers in that region can work with a builder who has real experience with those challenges, not just a national brand that treats every lot the same.
The first major event at the Yemassee showroom will be an industry opening in early June. This is a chance for builders, real estate professionals, lenders, and others in the housing industry to see the homes and learn more about Carolina Country Homes.
We're also expecting the community to be represented. Yemassee is a small town, and a new business of this kind is a meaningful addition. The mayor has expressed real interest in participating, and we are planning a follow-up community event on June 18 for local residents and the broader public.
We'll share photos and updates from the Yemassee opening as the date gets closer. If you're in the Lowcountry and have been thinking about building a modular home on your land, we'd love for you to come by and see what's possible.
In the meantime, our Lancaster showroom remains open 6 days a week, and our team is available for virtual meetings if you want to start a conversation before you make the drive.
Building a modular home with Carolina Country Homes is an exciting and rewarding experience, from the initial showroom visit to the day you move into your beautifully crafted new home. Reach out for more information about our Custom Built Homes!
